LOAD DRYER
CLEAN LINT SCREEN

Press the Extra Power knob to add
10 minutes of drying time for hard-to-dry
loads.
Clean the lint screen before each load. Also,
clean the exhaust vent at least every 2 years.
Wrinkle Prevent adds up to 150 minutes
of tumbling, after the cycle ends, to avoid
wrinkling. Reduce Static introduces a small
amount of moisture to reduce static. Steam
adds steam to smooth wrinkles. Cycle Signal
sounds a tone at end of cycle. Control Lock
avoids accidental changes in options or
preferences.
More Time and Less Time can only be used
with the Timed Dry and Quick Dry cycles.

TOUCH AND HOLD START/
PAUSE TO BEGIN CYCLE
After the display counts down “3-2-1”
and the dryer starts, release the button.
Continuing to hold the button after the cycle
starts may cause the cycle to be canceled.
SET UP FOR REMOTE
ENABLE, IF DESIRED
First, connect your dryer to your home Wi-Fi
network with WiFi Connect (refer to maytag.
com/connect or the Maytag app for more
details). Then touch REMOTE ENABLE each
time you want to remotely control your dryer.
Opening the door cancels Remote Enable.

No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any
type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic
must be dried on a clothesline or by using
an Air Cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in death or fire.
