Setup Guide
Step 1: Download the App
Download the Connected Caregiver app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Create an account and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your profile.
Step 2: Install the Hub
Place the StackCare hub in a central location in the home, near a power outlet. Connect the power adapter and wait for the indicator light to turn solid, indicating it is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Place the Sensors
Install the motion sensors in key areas such as the living room, kitchen, hallway, and bedroom. Place contact sensors on doors, cabinets, or the refrigerator to monitor usage. Sensors are designed to be discreet and require no tools for installation—use the included adhesive strips or place them on flat surfaces.
Step 4: Activate the System
Open the app and follow the prompts to pair each sensor with the hub. The app will guide you through naming each sensor (e.g., "Living Room Motion," "Front Door Contact"). Once paired, the system will begin learning the senior's daily routines.
Step 5: Configure Alerts
In the app, set up your notification preferences. You can choose to receive real-time alerts for specific events (e.g., no movement detected for a set period, unusual bathroom duration) and daily summary reports.
Using the System
Daily Monitoring
The system operates automatically in the background. You can check the app at any time to view real-time activity status, including whether the senior is up and around, sleeping, or if there has been any unusual inactivity.
Receiving Alerts
When the AI detects a significant change in routine or a potential fall (through sudden inactivity), you will receive a push notification on your smartphone. The alert will include details about the type of change detected.
Daily Summaries
Each day, the app generates a summary of the senior's activity, including sleep patterns, movement levels, bathroom visits, and mealtimes. This helps you stay informed without needing to check the app constantly.

Troubleshooting
Sensors Not Pairing
Ensure the hub is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi. Bring the sensor close to the hub (within 10 feet) during pairing. Replace batteries if the sensor does not respond.
No Alerts Received
Check that notifications are enabled in the app settings and on your phone's system settings. Verify that the hub has a stable internet connection.
False Alerts
The AI system learns routines over time. If you receive frequent false alerts, allow the system 3-5 days to calibrate. You can also adjust sensitivity settings in the app.
