Operating Instructions
Before First Use
- Unpack all components and check for any damage.
- Wash all jars, lids, and attachments with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not wash the main motor unit.
- Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
Basic Assembly
- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Select the jar required for your task.
- Place the jar onto the motor base, aligning it with the locking mechanism.
- Insert the required blade or attachment onto the drive shaft inside the jar.
- Place the food items into the jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Secure the lid onto the jar, ensuring it locks into place.
Using the Speed Controls
- Speed 1 (Low): Use for gentle mixing, kneading soft dough, or whipping.
- Speed 2 (Medium): Use for general chopping, grinding, and blending. Speed 3 (High): Use for fast chopping, grinding hard substances, or making purees.
- Pulse Function: Press and hold the pulse button for short bursts of power. This gives you control over texture for tasks like coarse chopping.
Note: Always start at a lower speed, especially with dense or hard foods.
Common Tasks Guide
Chopping Vegetables
- Use the main processing jar with the chopping blade.
- Cut vegetables into roughly even-sized chunks.
- Use the Pulse function in short bursts to achieve the desired consistency.
Kneading Dough
- Use the main processing jar with the kneading blade.
- Add ingredients. Use Speed 1 or 2.
- Do not run the motor continuously for more than 1 minute when kneading. Allow it to cool between cycles.
Dry Grinding
- Use the dedicated 1.2L stainless steel grinding jar.
- Ensure ingredients are dry.
- Use Speed 2 or 3 in short intervals to prevent the motor from overheating.
Making Juice
- Attach the citrus juicer cone to the main unit.
- Cut citrus fruit in half and press onto the cone while the motor is running at a low speed.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Jars and Attachments: Wash with warm soapy water. Most are hand wash only. The blending jar is BPA-Free. The stainless steel parts are dishwasher safe (check individual component instructions).
- Blades: Handle with care. Wash immediately after use to prevent food from sticking. Dry thoroughly before storage.
- Motor Base: Unplug the unit. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Storage: Store all parts dry. The blades can be stored in a provided holder or separately to prevent damage.
