Charging the Headphones

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure the metal charging contacts on the earbuds align with the pins in the case.
2. Connect the included USB cable to the charging port on the case and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. The case may have an LED indicator that shows charging status. Refer to the indicator lights on the case or earbuds for charge level.
4. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Powering On/Off and Pairing

1. Power On: Remove both earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on and enter pairing mode (typically indicated by a flashing LED).
2. On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth in the settings menu.
3. Search for available devices. Select "JOYWISE U8C" from the list.
4. Once connected, you may hear a voice prompt or tone.
5. Power Off: Place both earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically power off and begin charging.

Dual Connection: To connect to a second device, disconnect from the first device or turn off its Bluetooth, then follow the pairing steps with the second device. The headphones support switching between two paired devices.

Wearing the Earbuds

1. Select the silicone ear tip that best fits your ear canal for comfort and sound isolation.
2. Gently insert the earbud into your ear and rotate slightly until it feels secure.
3. Repeat for the other ear.

Controls and Functions

Each earbud has a physical multi-function button.

• Play/Pause Music: Press the multifunction button once on either earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Press the multifunction button once during an incoming call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the multifunction button for about 2 seconds during an incoming call.
• Next Track: Press the multifunction button twice on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Press the multifunction button twice on the left earbud.
• Volume Control: Volume control is typically managed directly from your connected device.
• Voice Assistant: Activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant) by pressing the multifunction button three times (check for specific voice prompt).

Checking Battery Status

The battery status of the earbuds is typically displayed on the screen of your connected Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone status bar). Some models may have LED indicators on the earbuds or case:

• Earbud LED: May flash during pairing and indicate low battery.
• Case LED: May indicate case battery level when charging or opening the lid.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the earbuds and case with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
• Water Resistance: While IPX7 rated for sweat and rain, do not submerge the earbuds for prolonged periods or use while swimming. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet.
• Storage: Store the earbuds in the charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the headphones to extreme heat or cold.

Troubleshooting

• Earbuds won't power on: Place them in the charging case to ensure they have battery. Charge fully.
• Can't connect to Bluetooth:
  • Ensure the earbuds are out of the case and in pairing mode (LED flashing).
  • On your device, forget "JOYWISE U8C" from Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • Ensure the earbuds are within range (up to 30 ft).
• One earbud has no sound: Ensure both earbuds are charged. Place both in the case, then remove them to re-sync.
• Poor call quality: Ensure the microphone on the earbud is not obstructed. Move closer to your connected device.
• Short battery life: This may indicate the battery needs a full charge. If problems persist after a full charge, the battery may be nearing end of life.
