This manual provides instructions for the Audiocrazy Multi-Band AM/FM/SW1-2 Radio. This is a portable transistor radio that receives AM, FM, and two shortwave (SW1, SW2) bands. It can be powered by an AC adapter, standard D-cell batteries, or its built-in rechargeable battery. The radio features a large speaker, a telescopic antenna for reception, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an AUX input.

Use Guide
Initial Setup
Unpacking: Remove the radio, AC power cord, and manual from the packaging.
Power Choice: Decide on your power source:
AC Power (Indoor): Plug the included power cord into the DC input on the radio and into a standard 120V wall outlet.
Battery Power (Portable): Open the battery compartment and install 2 new D-cell batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) markings.
Rechargeable Battery (Portable): The internal battery charges when the AC power cord is connected. Allow several hours for a full charge before unplugging for portable use.
Listening to the Radio
Turn On: Rotate the Volume/Power Knob clockwise. You will hear a click and static.
Select Band: Use the Band Selector Switch to choose AM, FM, SW1, or SW2.
Extend Antenna: For FM or Shortwave bands, fully extend the telescopic antenna for best reception. For AM, the antenna is internal.
Tune Station: Slowly turn the large Tuning Knob while looking at the frequency dial. Stop when you hear a station clearly.
Adjust Volume: Rotate the Volume/Power Knob to your desired listening level.
Private Listening: Plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the Headphone Jack. The internal speaker will mute.
Using the AUX Input
Ensure the radio is powered on. Volume can be set to low.
Using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included), connect one end to the headphone output of your external device (e.g., phone, tablet).
Connect the other end to the AUX Input on the radio.
Start playback on your external device. Use the device to control playback (play, pause, track) and the radio's Volume Knob to control the sound level.
Power and Battery Notes
The radio operates on 120V AC power, 2 x D-cell batteries, or the built-in rechargeable battery.
When using AC power, the internal rechargeable battery will charge.
For longest battery life, use the AC power cord when indoors. Remove disposable batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period.

Troubleshooting
No Power:
Check that the Volume/Power Knob is rotated to the ON position.
If using batteries, ensure they are fresh and installed correctly.
If using the AC cord, ensure it is firmly connected to the radio and the wall outlet.
Poor or No Reception:
For FM/SW, ensure the telescopic antenna is fully extended.
Try moving the radio to a different location, away from large metal objects or electronics.
Check that the correct band (AM/FM/SW1/SW2) is selected.
AM reception uses an internal antenna; repositioning the entire radio may improve reception.
No Sound from AUX Input:
Ensure the audio cable is fully plugged into both the radio's AUX port and your external device.
Check that the external device's volume is turned up and playback has started.
Ensure the radio's volume is turned up.
Distorted Sound:
Reduce the volume on the radio.
If using the AUX input, reduce the volume on the connected device.
Safety and Care
Keep the radio dry. Do not expose it to rain, moisture, or liquids. It is not water-resistant.

When installing batteries, observe the correct polarity (+/-). Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
