The THINKWORK Compact Wood Router Tool is a corded electric trim router designed for woodworking tasks. It features a 6.5-amp, 1.25 HP motor that delivers up to 30,000 RPM. The tool has a fixed base with a clear plastic design for visibility during trimming and a rack-and-pinion depth adjustment system. Use Guide

Before Use

Ensure the router is unplugged before making any adjustments or installing bits.
Select the appropriate 1/4" router bit for your application.
Insert the bit into the collet and tighten securely using the provided wrenches.
Adjust the cutting depth using the rack-and-pinion depth adjustment system.
Attach any necessary guides (straight guide, guide plate, or trimming guide) according to the task.

Operating the Router

Plug the router into a 110V–120V power outlet.
Hold the tool firmly by the rubber-covered handle.
Turn on the router and allow the motor to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
Move the router smoothly across the material, maintaining control and even pressure.
Turn off the router and wait for the bit to stop completely before setting the tool down.

Maintenance

Replace carbon brushes when they become worn. Six replacement brushes are included.
Keep the cooling vents free of dust and debris.
Inspect the power cord regularly for damage.
Store the router and accessories in a dry, secure location.
