4. Control Panel & Components

Close-up of the pump's control panel showing the LCD screen, + and - buttons, and power switch.

Identify the following parts on your pump:

  • A. LCD Display: Shows the target pressure (PSI) and operational status.
  • B. '+' and '-' Buttons: Used to increase or decrease the target pressure setting.
  • C. Power Switch: Sliding switch to turn the pump on and start inflation.
  • D. Air Outlet: Connection point for the air hose or needle.
  • E. Type-C Charging Port: For connecting the included charging cable.
  • F. LED Work Light: Located near the air outlet.

5. Initial Setup & Charging

  1. Before first use, fully charge the pump.
    • Connect the provided Type-C cable to the pump's charging port.
    • Connect the other end to a standard USB power adapter (5V 1A) or computer USB port.
    • The pump does not have a charging indicator light. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the included accessories: air hose and two ball needles.
Note: It is recommended to charge the pump before storage if it will not be used for an extended period.

6. How to Use

6.1 Connecting to a Ball

You can connect the pump to a ball using one of two methods:

Method A (Using Air Hose):

  1. Screw one end of the 10 cm air hose onto the pump's air outlet.
  2. Insert a ball needle into the other end of the hose.
  3. Firmly insert the needle into the ball's inflation valve.

Method B (Direct Connection):

  1. Screw a ball needle directly onto the pump's air outlet.
  2. Firmly insert the needle into the ball's inflation valve.
Tip: Before inflation, check all connections for air leaks. If you hear hissing, reseat the connections.

6.2 Setting the Pressure & Inflating

  1. Set the Target Pressure: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired PSI. Refer to the pressure guide below.
    • Volleyball: ~6 PSI
    • Basketball: 7-9 PSI
    • Rugby Ball: 9-11 PSI
    • Soccer/Football: 8-15 PSI
Calibration Note: Due to a possible 1 PSI sensor variance, it is recommended to set the target pressure 1 PSI higher than your desired final pressure for optimal results. You can test and adjust based on feel.
  2. Start Inflation: Slide the power switch to the ON position. The pump will start, and the LCD will display the pressure building.
  3. Automatic Stop: The pump will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.
  4. Disconnect: Turn the pump off. Remove the needle from the ball's valve.
Important: Do not touch the power switch during inflation, as this will stop the pump prematurely. The pump has a memory function and will default to the last used pressure setting when powered on again.

7. Calibration & Troubleshooting

7.1 Pressure Calibration

If you notice a consistent deviation between the displayed pressure and the actual ball pressure, you can reset the calibration.

Steps:

  1. Ensure the pump is ON but not connected to any ball or hose.
  2. Press and hold the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  3. The display may reset. You will need to set your desired pressure again for the next use.

7.2 Common Issues

  • Pump does not turn on: Battery may be depleted. Connect to charger.
  • Pump stops immediately or seems weak: Check for air leaks at hose and needle connections. Ensure needle is fully inserted into the ball valve.
  • Pressure reading seems inaccurate: Perform the calibration reset procedure described above.
  • Pump does not stop automatically: Do not leave unattended. Turn off manually if it exceeds the target pressure. The automatic stop function may be impaired; contact support.

8. Care & Maintenance

  • Store the pump and accessories in the provided waterproof bag when not in use.
  • Keep the air outlet and needle clean from debris.
  • Do not expose the pump to extreme heat, cold, or moisture.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the pump.
  • Recharge the battery every few months if the pump is stored for a long time.

9. Safety Information & Warnings

  • INTENDED USE: This pump is designed for inflating sports balls (soccer, basketball, volleyball, football, rugby) within its 15 PSI maximum pressure limit.
  • NOT SUITABLE FOR: Bicycle tires, car tires, high-pressure items, yoga balls, large inflatable toys, or any item requiring more than 15 PSI. Using it for these purposes may damage the pump and void the warranty.
  • Keep away from children. The ball needle is sharp.
  • Do not block the air outlet while the pump is running.
  • Use only the provided Type-C cable or a standard 5V 1A USB charger.
  • If the pump is damaged, emits smoke, or behaves abnormally, stop use immediately and disconnect from power.
