The INK-VS05 offers four primary modes of operation:
This is the standard process for most dry and solid foods.
Use this to seal a bag without vacuuming. Ideal for sealing pre-vacuumed bags or creating bags from rolls.
Allows you to manually control the vacuum strength. Useful for delicate items (like chips or bread) that can be crushed by full vacuum pressure, or for removing air from bags containing liquid.
Used with special vacuum canisters or containers that have a valve.
Important: Avoid allowing liquids, powders, or food particles to be sucked into the machine's vacuum channel, as this can damage the pump and affect performance.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | Power cord not plugged in. Faulty outlet. | Check power connection. Try a different outlet. |
| Vacuum process does not start or is weak. | Lid not closed properly. Bag blocking the vacuum channel. Clogged vacuum channel. | Ensure lid is firmly latched. Reposition bag so channel is clear. Check and clean the vacuum channel entrance (when unplugged). |
| Bag does not seal. | Sealing bar dirty or damaged. Bag not properly positioned. Bag material incompatible. | Clean the sealing bar (cool). Ensure bag end is flat across the entire sealing bar. Use recommended bag types. |
| Seal is weak or breaks open. | Insufficient sealing time (overheating protection activated). Moisture on sealing area. | Allow the machine to cool down if it has been used continuously. Dry the bag's sealing area thoroughly. |
| Machine stops during use (Overheat Protection). | Continuous use has caused internal components to overheat. | Unplug the machine and allow it to cool down completely for 30-60 minutes before resuming use. |
| Water/liquid enters the machine. | Sealing very wet food without precaution. | Always pat food dry. Freeze liquids. Use the water drip tray. If liquid enters, unplug immediately and let the unit dry thoroughly for several days before testing. Severe ingress may require service. |
Read all instructions before use. Failure to follow warnings may result in electric shock, fire, or injury.
