4. Use Guide

4.1 Before First Use

1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Wash the kettle interior and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not immerse the base, power cord, or connector in water.
3. Fill the kettle to its maximum capacity (1.7L) with fresh water and bring it to a boil using the "Boil" preset. Discard the water. This cleans the interior.

4.2 Daily Operation

1. Place on Base: Ensure the kettle is correctly seated on the dry, level heating base.
2. Fill with Water: Open the lid and fill with the desired amount of cold water. Do not fill past the MAX line (1.7L). Do not operate without water.
3. Power On: Plug the base into a standard 120V outlet. The touch screen will illuminate.
4. Select Program: Tap the desired temperature preset icon (e.g., Green Tea, Coffee, Boil).
5. Start Heating: The kettle will begin heating immediately. The display will show the heating progress.
6. Using Keep-Warm: To keep water at the set temperature, tap the WARM icon after selecting a temperature preset. The keep-warm function will maintain the temperature for up to 2 hours (maximum 205°F). The WARM function cannot operate alone.
7. Pouring: Lift the kettle from the base to pour. The base can remain plugged in.
8. Power Off: The kettle will auto-shutoff after completion. You can also press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn it off manually.

• Interior: Rinse with warm water. For mineral deposits (scale), use a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Fill the kettle, let it sit for 1 hour, then boil. Discard the solution and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
• Lid and Spout: Clean with a soft brush or cloth. Ensure the steam vent is clear.
• Base: Wipe with a dry cloth. Ensure no water enters the electrical connector.

6. Troubleshooting

• Kettle does not turn on:
  • Check that the power cord is securely plugged in.
  • Ensure the kettle is properly seated on the base.

• Keep-warm function is not working:
  • Ensure the WARM mode is selected after choosing a temperature preset. It cannot operate independently.
• Screen is unresponsive:

• Water is not heating quickly:
