8. Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Unit does not turn on.
Battery is depleted. Power connection is loose.
Recharge the battery. Check that the battery is fully inserted or that the 12V adapter is securely connected.
Inflator starts but no air flows.
Nozzle is not properly connected to the valve. Valve core is stuck.
Re-seat the nozzle firmly on the valve stem. Check the tire valve.
Pressure reading is inaccurate or display shows zero.
Sensor error. Loose connection.
Turn the unit off and on again. Ensure the nozzle is tightly connected to the hose and the hose is connected to the unit.
Motor runs but inflates very slowly.
Battery power is low. Extreme cold weather.
Recharge the battery or switch to 12V DC power. Allow the unit to warm up if used in cold conditions.
Unit does not auto shut-off.
Target pressure is set too high. Sensor issue.
Manually stop the pump and check the set pressure. Turn unit off and on to reset.
