5. Usage Instructions

5.1 Charging the Jump Starter

To maintain battery health and ensure readiness:

1. Connect the provided AC wall charger to the unit's charging socket and a standard wall outlet.
2. Important: When using the car charger, the flat plug must be connected to a 12V vehicle socket (cigarette lighter port).
3. The LED battery indicator will show the charging status. Charge fully before first use and after each use.
4. Storage: If not in use, recharge the device at least every 60 days to maintain battery health.

5.2 Jump Starting a Vehicle (12V or 24V)

1. Prepare the Jump Starter: Ensure the unit is sufficiently charged. Turn off all accessories on the vehicle (radio, lights, etc.).
2. Identify Battery Terminals: Locate the vehicle's battery. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
3. Connect the Clamps:
   • Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
   • Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery and fuel lines. Do not connect directly to the negative battery terminal if possible.
